Being a single mom/dad is sometimes tough and challenging. I have known some of them and most of them said that there is always that demand to be a good provider to the children. Aside from that, being a single mom/dad calls for you then to perform both roles of a mom and a dad. 

The early stages of the child are the most critical stages in his/her development. What he/she will become someday will be shaped by significant experiences when he/she is still on these stages. Thus it is very crucial for a mom/dad to be a noteworthy model and example to the kid.
